Many foreigners find it difficult to communicate properly with doctors and nurses.  It is very important that Medical interpreters are available to assist in the communication of both parties.

In this course, the necessary knowledge for medical interpretation, hospital ethics and interpretation techniques in face-to-face and telephone consultations will be taught.

The registration closes on August 14 (Friday), and the course fee is free.

Languages ​​in which the course will be held (5 students for each language)

Portuguese, Vietnamese, Chinese, Tagalog, Spanish

Use the Coronavirus Contact Confirmation Application (COCOA)

The Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare (Kosei Rodosho – 厚生 労 働 省) launched the Contact Confirmation Application for the coronavirus (which is abbreviated as COCOA).  With this app, the user will receive a notification if there is a contact with people who tested positive for the coronavirus.

It is believed that the more users of this app, the greater the prevention results against the coronavirus.  So Mie Prefecture asks all citizens to install and use the app.

How to install the application

  • Search for 接触 確認 ア プ リ (Sesshoku Kakunin App, translated as, Contact Confirmation App) on the App Store or Google Play and install..
