2018 “Year-end Civil Traffic Safety Movement” 2018年「年末の交通安全県民運動」を実施します Share!FacebookEmailTwitterWhatsApp 2018/11/26 Monday Security The end of the year is a season with a tendency to increase the number of accidents due to the fact that the day ends earlier, aside from the changes in the flow and the intensity of the traffic. Also, one cannot forget the increased chances of finding someone drunk driving after year-end parties (bonenkai). This is a very propitious time for drunken driving accidents. In order to raise awareness about traffic safety, protect rules and prevent accidents, the “Civil Movement of Traffic Safety at the End of the Year” will be held. Period: December 1, 2018 (Saturday) to December 10 (Monday) for 10 days Issues to be addressed Prevention of traffic accidents by older people and children Let’s strive to prevent accidents by being mindful when driving if you see elderly people and children. Let’s turn on the car, motorcycle and bicycle lights earlier. Pedestrians and bicycle users should wear reflective materials. Correct wearing of seat belts and child seat In the unlikely event, when you get in the car, wear a seat belt in every seat in order to reduce the damage in case of an accident. * Click here for details http://mieinfo.com/ja/jouhou/anzen/child-seat-jp/index.html Protection and preference of pedestrians When there are pedestrians crossing the pedestrian lane, the cars must stop before the lane.
