1- What is a contract?

A contract is agreed when the intention of both parts are accordingly. Signatures and seals on documents are the only way to validate a contract. A contract can also be agreed just by verbal commitments.

When a contract is signed it cannot be unilaterally terminated (except for some exceptions)

Check the contract carefully!

A contract is an important document containing items in which both parts must comply with. It does not matter how small the letter is, it is necessary to read the whole contract. Signing a contract means to be in accordance with everything is written there.

In order to avoid troubles related to discrepancy on the contract’s content by the verbal explanations of the contracted person, it is necessary to check the terms carefully before completing it.

Points to be verified before signing a contract

  • When (contract’s day)
  • With whom (name, address, company’s contact information)
  • What (name and sort of the product)
  • How many (amount)
  • How much (price)
  • Payment method (in cash, credit card, among others)
  • Method to receive the product (when, how)
  • Existence of negotiations related to cancellation
  • Existence of negotiations related to compensation and cancellation fee

Check the content carefully and do not accept the contract in case it is not in accordance with some part.

12月・1月は県税の「差押強化月間」です

In Mie prefecture, in order to eliminate the delinquent payment of prefectural taxes, December and January of the following year, this two months are treated as prefectural tax “seizure strengthening month”.

“Seizure” is a compulsory disposition in accordance with the law. It is to do to those who do not pay prefectural tax even if there is income and property, this is to keep fairness with those who pays by the deadline.

Until now, the county tax offices in the prefecture will carry out “seizure disposal” at once to the delinquents who shows no intention of paying despite the fact that he / she has been sent a demand to pay many times.

Various assets such as “credits” “salary”, “accounts receivable”, “deposits and savings”, “life insurance”, “automobiles” and “real estate” are subject to seizure.

For “Automobile Seizure” a “Tire Lock” may be installed so that it can’t be moved. The seized automobiles, real estate, etc. will be sold at Internet public auction and will be used for taxes that are delinquent. In addition, we may take a measure called “Search” to discover property and make seizure. The prefecture tax “seizure strengthening month” is for two months in December and January, but we also do seizure at any time even in other periods.
