Notice of prohibition and self-restraint due to the coronavirus in relation to the seafood collection season

The seafood and clam collection season is coming, however, did you know that there are rules that must be respected?  Violating these rules can lead to fines, so collect seafood in accordance with these rules. For more details, click here.

Attention!

Due to the spreading of infection of the new coronavirus, this year there are many places that are banning or preventing the collection of shellfish and the use of beaches for leisure.  Some places have closed parking lots and rest places (umi no ie).

Please be aware not to enter these restricted areas.

Examples of locations with a seafood collection ban or restriction (as of April 23, 2020 information).

* There are other places that are also banning or restricting the collection of shellfish and the use of beaches for leisure.

* The ban period may change depending on some factors like the State of Emergency Declaration (Kinkyu Jitai Sengen)

[2020-R02] Proficiency Level of Upper Secondary School Graduates

令和2年度高等学校卒業程度認定試験

If a person who has not graduated from high school took the Proficiency Level of Upper Secondary School Graduates test and passes it, they will be eligible to take the entrance exams for university, junior college, and vocational school. Also, test takers that pass this test are certified as having knowledge equivalent or higher to a high school graduate, and they may cite this result on resumes and when applying a qualification tests. Those who wish to register for the exam please refer to the information provided below.

(Caution)

Those who will be 16 years of age or older by March 31, 2021 can take this certification exam. However, the final academic record does not become a high school graduate.

  1. Distribution period of the test guidebook

First period: From April 6 (Monday) to May 15 (Tuesday)

Second period: From July 20 (Monday) to September 14 (Monday)

    1. Collect in person

    Please use the envelope attached to the test guidebook and mail it by registered mail to the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology.
  1. Application Period

First period: April 6 (Monday) to May 12 (Tuesday), 2020

Second period: July 20 (Monday) to September 14 (Monday)

※Applications postmarked from 1st period May 12th (Tuesday) will be accepted; 2nd period until September 14th (Monday).

  1. Test date

First period: August 12 (Wednesday) and August 13 (Thursday), 2020

Second period: November 7 (Saturday) and November 8 (Sunday), 2020

  1. Test Location

First Period: Tsu-shi Kinro-sha Fukushi Center (Tsu-shi Shimazaki-cho 143-6 Sun Work Tsu)

Second period: Mie Ken Tsu Chosha (Tsu-shi Sakurabashi 3-446-34)
