Medical Interpreters Training Course 2022

Many foreigners have difficulty communicating properly with doctors and nurses. Medical interpreters are important in helping both parties communicate.

In this course, the knowledge necessary for medical translation and hospital ethics will be taught, as well as translation techniques in face-to-face and telephone consultations.

Registration closes on August 10 (Wednesday), and the course fee is free.

Languages in which the course will be held

Portuguese, Vietnamese, Filipino, Spanish

Selection test

August 20 (Saturday), from 2pm to 3:30pm

The test will be done online via Zoom.

Seminar for Learning Electric Arc Welding for Foreigners

外国籍の方対象　アーク溶接特別教育の受講者を募集します

Date

  • First time: September 12 to 14, 2022 (3 days)

8:40 am to 5:00 pm
*Registration period between August 1st and September 1st, 2022

  • Second time: 15 to 17 March 2023 (3 days)

8:40 am to 5:00 pm
* Application period between February 1st and March 1st, 2023

Who can apply

  1. Persons requiring safety training in the use of electric arc welding equipment
  2. Foreigners who have a stay visa without work restrictions

* However, you will need to know how to write and read hiragana and can speak daily conversational Japanese.

Capacity

5 people for each session (first come first serve)

Registration fee

¥8,000 (including textbooks etc.)

Training contents

Special education classes will be held in accordance with the Occupational Safety and Hygiene Laws. You will learn how to use electric arc welding equipment. Upon completion, you will receive the certificate of completion “Ark Yousetsu Tokubetsu Kyouiku Shuryo-sho (アーク溶接特別教育終了証)”.

Enrollment Method

  1. Call the “Mie-ken Jinzai Kaihatsu Center (三重県人材開発センター)” during the application period (TEL: 059-234-6883), open from 9:00 to 16:30 on weekdays (Service in Japanese only)
  2. After making the call, go to the Mie-ken Jinzai Kaihatsu Center and complete the registration procedures (〒514-0817 Mie-ken Tsu-shi Takachaya Omori-cho 1176-2).
