Medical Interpretation Training Course 2018


We will train medical interpreters who will help with the communication between foreign patients and doctors and nurses. In the training, you can learn practical knowledge, technology, ethics, etc. necessary to become a medical interpreter.

  1. Language to be approached

Portuguese, Chinese

  1. Who can participate

Those who satisfy all of the following conditions

  • Ability to have difficult conversations in Portuguese or both Chinese and Japanese.
    People whose Japanese is not their native language must have level 2 or higher in the Japanese Language Proficiency Test.
    If Portuguese is not their native language, must have intermediate level or higher.
    If Chinese is not their native language, must have HSK 4 grade or higher
  • Those who can work as a medical interpreter on weekdays in the prefecture
  • Able to participate in the attendance examination and all four training sessions
  • Those who can register as a medical interpreter by Mie Prefecture International Exchange Foundation etc.
  • Those who passed the attendance test (conducted on June 24)

Course examination June 24th (Sun) 2pm to 3pm

1st time                    July 22 (Sun) 10am to 4:15pm

2nd time                   August 26 (Sun) 10am to 4:15pm

3rd time                    September 23 (Sun) 10am to 4:15pm

4th time                    October 28 (Sun) 10am to 4:15pm

Attendance Exam Training room A at UST Plaza (Tsu-shi, Hadokoro-cho, 700 – UST TSU 4th floor)

1st to 4th times  UST PLAZA Training Room A, Conference Room 1 (Scheduled)
