
Due to the increased risk of infection by the new coronavirus, on April 10, 2020, the Governor of Mie declared a State of Emergency to Prevent the Spread of Infectious Disease (Kansen Kakudai Soshi Kinkyu Jitai – 感染拡大阻止緊急宣言). The declaration is only available in Japanese.
- Period of temporary school suspension from April 15 (Wednesday) until May 6 (Thursday) 2020
* Some schools will start the suspension from April 16 or 17
- Extracurricular activities (bukatsudo) will be cancelled during the period mentioned above.
- Assistance to students during school suspnsion will depend on the situation of the school and students, students will attend school once a week. Consultations on education and health management will be held if necessary.
- About elementary schools (shogakko and chugakko)
The measures to be implemented will be different according to the Educational Committee of each city, so follow the instructions of the school or the Educational Committee.
