(Kuwana) Seminar on Disaster Prevention for Foreigners

A seminar on disaster prevention aiming foreign residents, as well as people interested in giving support to foreigners will be carried out. At this seminar participants will learn how to proceed during a natural disaster, as well as other related awareness.

Foreign residents living in Mie Prefecture are from countries where there is no occurrence of earthquakes. Therefore, in the scenario of a natural disaster capable people to help foreign residents should deepen their knowledge and know how to proceed to give the proper support. The aim of this seminar is to promote people to give support in the case of natural disasters, in order to boost the qualification of self-help and mutual assistance.
Date and time:  December 17, 2016 (Saturday) – 2 p.m to 4 p.m.
Location: Kuwana City Central Fire Department (Kuwana-shi, Oaza Eba 7)

• Presentation: About natural disasters of Kuwana city
• Experiencing first fire responses

Target audience: foreign residents, people interested in giving support to foreigners

Free participation (participants will get some items related do natural disasters)
Capacity: 40
