*Regarding the public housing with vacancies that are not filled through the regular application, from the day after the lottery until the vacancies are filled, service will be provided on a first-come first- served basis until the first Wednesday of the month after the month to which the lottery is completed. The deadline for this supplementary registration is October 31.

Period of Preventive Measures to Prevent Return of Cases in Mie Prefecture (October 1 to October 14, 2021)

The number of new coronavirus cases in Mie Prefecture have been declining since September thanks to the help of all residents.  However, the medical infrastructure remains extremely overburdened.

Therefore, Mie’s government defined the 1st to 14th of October, 2021 as the “Period of Preventive Measures to Prevent the Return of Cases in Mie Prefecture (Mieken Rebound Soshi Juten Kikan – 三重県リバウンド阻止重点期間)”, in Japanese only, throughout the province.

The authorities are asking for everyone’s cooperation.

To all the residents of Mie Prefecture

  1. When going out, avoid crowded places and busy times.
  2. Do not go to regions outside the prefecture where cases are rising (except in case of extreme necessity).
  3. Do not eat with many people and for long periods, even at barbecues, camps and other outdoor environments.
  4. If you are not feeling well, avoid leaving the house and avoid contact with other people, use separate rooms and wear a facemask inside your house. Please contact the nearest hospital as soon as possible.
  5. Use Go To Eat meal tickets for takeout and delivery.

To all entrepreneurs and traders

  1. Close restaurant hours at 8pm. The restaurant with “Anshin Mieria” may receive a much relaxed measures and may be open until 9 pm.
  2. All restaurants must take precautionary measures.
  3. Entertainment facilities must prevent the entry of people with fever or who refuse to take preventive measures (using masks, disinfecting hands, etc.).
  4. Make intensive use of the “Anshin Mieria”, Mie’s hospitality and safety facility certification system, to intensify preventive measures in restaurants and tourist facilities.
