2016 Middle School Equivalency Exam for Individuals Exempt from Completing Compulsory Education

This exam is for individuals who, due to illness or other unavoidable circumstances, were exempt from completing or could not complete compulsory education. Individuals who pass this exam are eligible to apply for entry to senior high school.

Those who wish to take the exam should follow the instructions below to obtain the registration and test guidelines, and complete the necessary registration procedures.

1. Obtaining the registration and test guidelines

The registration and test guidelines are available at the following institutions:

– Mie Prefecture, Prefectural Board of Education, Senior High School Education Division, Career Education Group (Mie Prefectural Office Building 7F)

9am-5pm, excluding Saturday, Sunday and public holidays
– The guidelines are also available at every municipal board of education

Please call ahead of time when coming to pick up registration and test guidelines.

6. Results

To be announced Monday 5 December 2016

※Results will be mailed directly to the test taker.

夏の交通安全市民運動について

Summer time has come with outdoor activities and, along with school vacation, traffic congestion becomes heavier. As well as the sensation of liberty, the fatigue caused by hot weather are two serious issues related to traffic accidents.

Traffic safety will be greater if each citizen obeys the rules and acquires as a practice the good manners when driving.

Important points on this campaign

– Prevention of traffic accidents invloving children and elderly (give priority to pedestrian on the crossing lane)

– Eradication of drunkenness when driving

– Prioritizationonthe use of seat belt, mainly on rear- seat, as well as the correct use of child car seat

– Awareness on the correct use of bicycles
