Special schedule for summer vacation: “Fushigina Shima no Takara Sagashi – Kaizoku no Takara wa Doko ni Aru!?” (Treasure Hunt of Mysterious Island – Where is Pirate’s Treasure?) During this summer vacation the event hall will turn into a mysterious island! Let’s find the treasure pirates hid in this island. If you find the trasure, will you share with everyone? Period: 2015 July 18 (Saturday) to August 30 (Sunday) Hours: From 10 am to 4:30 pm (reception until 4 pm) Location: Event Hall – 1F Admission: ¥200 To participate: get the ticket on the 1st floor entrance and hand over it at event hall’s reception. Special schedule for summer vacation: “Bokura Ikimono Chosa-tai Totte, Shirabete, Katachi ni Shiou! – Oyako de Sugosu Natsu Yasumi!” (A Research Team on Living Beings: Let’s find it, research it and assemble it! – Summer interactive activity for parents and children) Bring the insects, plants and shells that you find to the day of this activity. We will research together about the names of the materials brought and then each participant will assemble a showcase of the most like item. Date: 2015 August 8 (Saturday) Hours: From 1 pm to 2:30 pm From 3 pm to 4:30 pm Location: Butai space – 2F (presentation area) Duration: 90 minutes Target audience: shogakko students and their parents Capacity: 30 groups by timetable Admission: Free ※The participation of one of the parents or guardian is required. ※Mammals, amphibious and reptiles are prohibited. ※Reception is from 12:30 pm and will be closed as the vacancies are completed. 5th Research Laboratory for Parents and Children “Suidosui Zukuri Taiken & Mizu no Seishitsu wo Shirabeyo, Kangaeyo” (Producing drinking water & Research and Analise on the Water Composition) Let’s turn turbid water into drink water, research, analise on the composition, trying out and comparing several types of water. Date: 2015 August 22 (Saturday) Hours: 10:00 11:00 12:00 13:00 14:00 15:00 Location: Butai space – 2F (presentation area) Target Audience: shogakko students (above 6 years of age) Capacity: 20 for each timetable Admission: free ※Registration will be accepted on the 1st floor entrance ※Registration for all timetables will begin from 9:30 am ※The presence of one of the parents or guardian is required. In this exhibition visitors can enjoy paintings, sculptures, handicrafts, photos and materials on architecture from 1940, a period where the art went through a significant transition period. Period: From July 11 (Saturday) to September 27 (Sunday) 2015 Hour: From 9:30 am to 5 pm (entrance permitted until 4:30 pm) Closed every Monday and September 24 (Thu), except September 21(Mon) when the museum will operate normally Admission: Adults ¥1,000 (¥800) Students: ¥800 (¥600) High School students and under: free Bracket prices ( ) are for tickets bought in advance and for groups of 20 or more people Main sales counters for advanced tickets: Ticket Pia, Circle K Sunkus, Seven Eleven, etc With the ticket is possible to visit the permanent exhibitions Students should show their identification card “seito techo” or “gakusei-sho”.
