“Forties – 70 years postwar- Japanese Art Reproduction of 20th Century”
Mie Prefectural Museum will hold an exhibition of materials and art works from the 40’s, where the great oscillation of the art’s aspect and features can be observed due to postwar effects. In this exhibition visitors can enjoy paintings, sculptures, handicrafts, photos and materials on architecture from 1940, a period where the art went through a significant transition period.
Period: From July 11 (Saturday) to September 27 (Sunday) 2015
Hour: From 9:30 am to 5 pm (entrance permitted until 4:30 pm)
Closed every Monday and September 24 (Thu), except September 21(Mon) when the museum will operate normally
Admission:
Adults ¥1,000 (¥800)
Students: ¥800 (¥600)
High School students and under: free
- Bracket prices ( ) are for tickets bought in advance and for groups of 20 or more people
- Main sales counters for advanced tickets: Ticket Pia, Circle K Sunkus, Seven Eleven, etc
- With the ticket is possible to visit the permanent exhibitions
- Students should show their identification card “seito techo” or “gakusei-sho”.
- Admission for individuals with special needs (and 1 companion) is free upon presentation of identification card.
- “Katei no Hi” (Aug 1 and Sep 20) on Family’s Day , admission will be the same on the brackets ( ).
Access: 10 minutes on foot from west side of Tsu Station (Kintetsu, JR). We request the visitants to use the public transport
