A joint consultation session for foreign nationals will be held at AST Tsu. Consultations are available on labor issues, immigration procedures, legal matters, and pensions. Interpreters are available.

Reservations are required, so please call us to schedule a consultation.

Multiple Fatal Traffic Accident Alert

Due to the increase in fatal traffic accidents in the prefecture, a Multiple Fatal Traffic Accident Alert (Koutsu Shibo Jiko Tahatsu Keiho – 交通死亡事故多発警報) has been issued.

Please observe traffic regulations and be careful not to cause or be involved in accidents.

From September 2, 2025 (Tuesday) to September 30, 2025 (Tuesday) – a total of 29 days.

  • Preventing Accidents Involving the Elderly
  • Preventing Traffic Accidents Involving Vulnerable Persons (Pedestrians and Cyclists)
  1. To Prevent Traffic Accidents

For Drivers

  • Pedestrians have priority at crosswalks.
  • When encountering the elderly, drive with consideration.
  • Always wear a seat belt in all seats.
  • Be extra careful when crossing intersections.
  • Driving under the influence of alcohol is strictly prohibited.
  • Reduce speed and drive at a safe pace.
  • Distracted driving (using a cell phone, etc.) is prohibited; keep your eyes on the road.

For Pedestrians and Cyclists

  • When crossing the street, use the crosswalk.
  • Before crossing, check for safety by looking both ways.
  • When riding at dusk or at night, wear reflective materials.
  • For cyclists, driving under the influence of alcohol is also strictly prohibited.
  • Respect traffic rules and drive safely.
  • When cycling, wear a helmet to protect your life.
