「まいぶん祭(まつり)2022」を開催します

The “Maibun Matsuri 2022” will be held, it is a festival for everyone to learn about Mie’s history and cultural records in a fun way.  The organization is gathering participants who wants to experience creating Magatama (勾玉), a hook-shaped jewel, and Ento Haniwa, an ancestral flower pot.  Participation is free!

  • Date, content and capacity

October 29 and 30, 2022 (Saturday and Sunday)

Ento Haniwa Experience (32 people): 9:30am to 12pm

Magatama Experience (32 people): 1pm to 4pm

  • Target audience

Ento Haniwa Making Experience: chugakko, koko and 4th, 5th and 6th year shogakko students

Magatama Making Experience: Chugakko, Koko and Shogakko Students

*Shagakko 1st, 2nd and 3rd year students must be accompanied by their parents.

  • Experience registration (first come, first served. Registration will close once capacity is reached)

Send E-mail to maibun@pref.mie.lg.jp with the following items.

  1. In the title, write: まいぶん祭申込
  2. In the body of the email, write the participant’s name (with furigana)
  3. Write the school year (eg Shogakku 3 nen-sei – 小学3年生)
  4. Name, address and telephone number of parents (write a number that the guardian uses daily)
  5. Write the content of the experience and the day you are interested in (ex: Ento Haniwa Dukuri – 円筒はにわづくり 10月29日)
  6. If the date you are interested in has already reached capacity, if you are also interested in the other date, please write some details about your visit.

*For group registrations (multiple people), write the items above all participants

Message to all people diagnosed with coronavirus

In principle, there will be no contact from the public health center (hokenjo) about the end of medical treatment.

You do not need to be tested for Covid-19 at the end of treatment.

When returning to work or school, there is no need to present documents such as a clearance certificate or notification of the period of medical treatment.

About the medical treatment notification period

Based on the notification from the national government, Mie Prefecture has decided not to issue work restriction notices or notices of end of work restrictions to those who have been diagnosed with coronavirus.
