The “Maibun Matsuri 2022” will be held, it is a festival for everyone to learn about Mie’s history and cultural records in a fun way. The organization is gathering participants who wants to experience creating Magatama (勾玉), a hook-shaped jewel, and Ento Haniwa, an ancestral flower pot. Participation is free!

October 29 and 30, 2022 (Saturday and Sunday)
Ento Haniwa Experience (32 people): 9:30am to 12pm
Magatama Experience (32 people): 1pm to 4pm

Ento Haniwa Making Experience: chugakko, koko and 4th, 5th and 6th year shogakko students
Magatama Making Experience: Chugakko, Koko and Shogakko Students
*Shagakko 1st, 2nd and 3rd year students must be accompanied by their parents.

- Experience registration (first come, first served. Registration will close once capacity is reached)
Send E-mail to maibun@pref.mie.lg.jp with the following items.
- In the title, write: まいぶん祭申込
- In the body of the email, write the participant’s name (with furigana)
- Write the school year (eg Shogakku 3 nen-sei – 小学３年生)
- Name, address and telephone number of parents (write a number that the guardian uses daily)
- Write the content of the experience and the day you are interested in (ex: Ento Haniwa Dukuri – 円筒はにわづくり １０月２９日)
- If the date you are interested in has already reached capacity, if you are also interested in the other date, please write some details about your visit.
*For group registrations (multiple people), write the items above all participants
