The Japan Tourism Promotion Campaign “Oideyo! Mie Tabi Campaign” has been extended

全国旅行支援「おいでよ!みえ旅キャンペーン」を2023年3月まで実施します!

The “Oideyo!  Mie Tabi Campaign” (おいでよ!みえ旅キャンペーン), which will give discounts on travel to citizens of all prefecture, will be held until March, 2023.

When using the discount, please take basic measures to prevent the coronavirus infection.

Campaign period

January 10 (Tuesday) to March 30, 2023 (Thursday)

In the case of the use of accommodation facilities, the checkout is until March 31 (Friday)

It will end as soon as the budget runs out.

Person eligible for the discount

People living in all 47 prefectures of Japan

Terms of use

Proof of 3 doses of COVID-19 vaccine or (negative) test results must be presented on the day of travel.

Reservation method

Please make a reservation from an accommodation facility, travel agency, or accommodation facility reservation site.

(Please check the website of each company to see if the discount applies.)

Discount details

20% of the travel price for the campaign will be discounted.

Discount limit

Travels that includes accommodation and use of transportation such as airplanes and chartered buses: 5,000 yen per person per night

Travel options other than mentioned above: 3,000 yen per person per night

Day trip 3,000 yen

Coupons

Tourists on weekdays can get a local coupon worth 2,000 yen.

Holiday travelers can get a local coupon worth 1,000 yen.

Free Covid-19 testing

新型コロナウイルス無料検査のお知らせ

The necessary tests (PCR test, qualitative antigen test, etc.) are offered free of charge to prefecture residents who are concerned about the spread trends of the coronavirus.  This is an announcement informing you of the extension of the free trial period.

Testing period

  Before the extension: December 29, 2021 (Wednesday) to December 31, 2022 (Saturday)

New Extended date: December 29, 2021 (Wednesday) to January 31, 2023 (Tuesday)

  Target Audience

  Mie residents who are asymptomatic and concerned about whether they are infected

*No matter the amount of vaccines taken

Testing procedure

  1. Look for a place to take the test

Advance reservation may be required.  Contact the facility before testing.

The test is available in 175 medical establishments, pharmacies and other locations (data as of December 12, Monday)

  1. Show your identification document at the exam location (driver’s license, MyNumber Card, etc.)

Test result announcement

The exam site will notify you of the test results.

Certificates of negative results with a doctor’s diagnosis are not issued.

The method of notification varies from institution to institution, including paper, email, apps, etc.

Notifications of qualitative antigen test results are issued on the same day, while PCR tests are issued at a later date.
