  2. Use insect repellent containing the chemical DEET. This should be done in addition to minimizing skin exposure.
  3. Be sure to remove any ticks on your clothing and body by brushing or slapping them off after you return from the wooded areas or areas with tall grass.
  4. Wash clothes immediately after entering fields or fields, or seal them in a plastic bag for safekeeping.
  5. When changing clothes or taking a bath, check for ticks on your body.

Precautions for tick bites

  1. If you are bitten by a tick, clamp the tick’s head with tweezers to avoid crushing it and pull it out. If you can’t remove the tick yourself or if part of it remains in the skin, consult a medical institution.
  2. Keep an eye out for changes in physical condition for about a week after the injury. If you experience any of the above symptoms, seek medical attention and inform your doctor that you may have been bitten by a tick.
