“World Heritage” A commemorative exhibition celebrating the 10th Anniversary of the Kumano Kodo’s Designation as a UNESCO World Heritage Site

This exhibit features the work of artist Koichi Matsuda, who has produced sketches and CG art of various UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

Matsuda’s colorful works have a dream-like quality that resonates with viewers, and highlights the importance and beauty of his subjects, which have stood the test of time.

This exhibit contains works featuring about 40 locations, including new pieces that Matsuda produced after a recent trip to the sacred sites and pilgrimage routes in the Kii Mountain Range in summer and autumn of 2014.
