As this is the perfect season for outdoor activities, enjoy the events being held at these areas! The following events will be presented according to the date they will be carried out. Kuwana Festival 2017 Date: October 28 and 29 (Saturday and Sunday) from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Venue: at Hachikendori – Kuwana Rakuichi Special Stage, next to Teramachiodori commercial area and at Apita Kuwana’s outdoor parking lot. The “Kuwana Shoko Matsuri”, “Ekitopia”, “Kuwana Matsuri Haku” and “Kuwana Rakuichi” will be also held cooperatively! From 8 p.m. on the 28th (Saturday), men wearing formal samurai clothes (kamishimo) will carry torchs and line up, among other activities, to dedicate to the “lion dance” (shishimai). This festival plenty of leisure will offer stroll around the historic city, local specialties bazaar, among others.
