Target employment place・Contents of work

  • Iron structure = welding, machining and thin metal sheets processing
  • Metal pieces production = welding and press working
  • Architectural sheet metal = sheet metal processing

Certification:

  1. JIS welding certification (SA-2F basic grade)
  2. Certification of skill training course of gas welding registered by <Mie Labor Bureau Director Registration Teacher Institution (Mie Labor Bureau No. 17-4)>
  3. Certification of safety and health special education in Arc Welding.
  4. Safety and health special education certificate completion (free grinding, replacement etc.)
  5. (Optional) Slinging skill training course certificate <Registration training institution of Mie Labor Bureau (Mie Labor Bureau No. 20-2)>
  • Number of participants: 10
  • Training period
    October 21, 2020 (Wednesday) – March 16, 2021 (Tuesday) – 6 months
    (Except Saturdays, Sundays, public holidays and days on which the prescribed training is not conducted)
    Training time: 8:30 ~ 15:40
  • Cost
    Tuition is FREE
    At the time of the entrance procedure, work expenditure, protective equipment, disaster insurance etc. will cost 20,000 yen
    For those who will take the JIS welding license, the exam fee is approx. 26,000 yen
  • Target Participants
    Those who are motivated to acquire skills and find employment in the metal forming department, who fall under any of the following:
    1 – A foreign nationals who have a status of residence with no restrictions on employment activities
    ※ However, they must have a daily conversation level in Japanese, and can read and write Hiragana
    2 – Those who do not have work experience or less experience
  • Vocational training entrance screening
    Those who wish to join the training must participate in the entrance examination.
  1. Entrance Selection Date
    First entry screening: September 14, 2020 (Monday)
    Second entry screening: September 24, 2020 (Thursday)
    Third Entry screening: October 7, 2020 (Wednesday)
    (Please note that the second and third screening will not be implemented if the number of participants has already reached the capacity.)
  2. For those who wish to participate in the entrance examination, please consult the Public Employment Security Office (Hello Work).
    In addition, please contact the school by 5 pm the day before the entrance selection day.
  3. The entrance examination content is suitability test, hiragana test, individual interview.
  4. Please come to the Tsu technical school by 9 o’clock on the day of the opening date.
  5. On the examination day be sure to bring:
    Writing material (black ballpoint pen, pencil, eraser)
    Personal Seal (Shachihata model will not be accepted)
    Residence card (only for foreign nationals)
    Hello Work Card and one of the following:
    (1)For those receiving unemployment insurance, the KOYO HOKEN JUKYU SHIKAKUSHA-SHO
    (2) For those who graduated from a new high school, a survey form (for employment)
    (3)Employment consultation card if you graduated from a new junior high school,
    (4) For those other than mentioned above, bring identification card (car license, health insurance card, etc.)
  • Admission procedure
    (1) A school decision notice will be mailed to successful applicants.
    (2) Enclose the enrollment decision notification letter and mail the document “For those planning to enter the school”. Please proceed according to the entrance procedure described in that document.
    (3) We can not respond to inquiries about entry acceptance by phone etc.
  •  Closest access through public transport
    JR= 15 min on foot from Takachaya Station
    Kintetsu= get off at Hisai station, higashi guchi (west exit), take a bus from Sanko bus to Kumozu Koukan-cho or Karasu Koen, get off at Takachaya Danchi Mae and walk for 5 minutes.

Preventing heat stroke and also, maintaining “the new normal” lifestyle

熱中症予防と「新しい生活様式」を両立させましょう

With the advent of the novel coronavirus, it is important to follow the 3 basic points of “the new normal lifestyle” (新しい生活様式-Atarashii Seikatsu Youshiki), which are:

  1. Maintain social distancing
  2. Wear a mask
  3. Wash your hands and avoid closed and crowded places

With high summer temperatures, the risk of heat stroke increases due to the use of masks.  Observe the following points to avoid heatstroke and at the same time maintain the new normal lifestyle

  1. Remove the mask depending on the situation
  • If you are in an environment where it is possible to maintain a distance of more than 2m from other people, remove the mask.
  • While wearing the mask, avoid intense exercise. And, depending on the situation, keep a distance of more than 2 meters from other people, remove your mask and rest.
  • Be cautious when wearing masks especially on hot and humid days.
  1. Avoid hot environments
  • Circulate the air well when you are indoors and use the air conditioner to control the temperature.
  • Wear cool clothes and wear hats or umbrellas for sunny days and, if you’re not feeling well, stay home and rest, if it gets too hot, go to cool places.
  1. Stay well hydrated
  • Hydrate yourself even if you are not thirsty.
  • Take around 1.2 liters of water daily.
  • If you have sweat a lot, take minerals (drinks with electrolyte,etc.).
  1. Take care of your health daily
  • Measure your body temperature regularly and check your health condition every morning.
  • When you are sick, stay indoors and rest.
  • To prepare for the heat, do physical activities for 30 minutes daily whenever possible.
