Title: [Yokkaichi] Seminar 2011 for children with foreign citizenship and their parents
Location: At Yokkaichi Chubu Junior High School, Special Hall ( 3F )
Description: – Come and get lots of information about
enrolling the senior high schools in Japan.
– Teachers from 9 high schools will explain outlines of their school in detail.
Come and listen to your senior’s experiences.

Lots of talks from people who go on to high schools with their dreams

Everybody, parents and children, are welcome to join us!  You can get the information about high schools. Let’s find out also how they are doing their best here.

The Seminar will be presented in Japanese, and Spanish, English, Portuguese, Chinese, Thai and Tagalog interpreters are also available.

 Seal Carving Workshop

【1000 yen】 3/3(Sat)

All workshops will run from 13:30~15:30 on the dates specified above, with the exception of the seal carving workshop, which will run from 13:30~16:30.

*Participants cannot choose to take the same workshop on a different day and payment for workshops is non-refundable.

Space availablility

There are currently approximately 30 spaces available in each workshop

Participation criteria

Participants should be 5th year elementary school students or older

*The seal carving workshop is restricted to individuals age 20 and up.

*Participants of elementary school age should be accompanied by an adult.

*The application process and all workshops will be conducted in Japanese only. Furthermore, all teaching materials are only available in Japanese. Therefore, we request that foreign residents that wish to participate in workshops meet the following criteria:

①Be able to speak Japanese at a conversational level

②Be able to participate in question and answer sessions in Japanese

③Be able to read and write Japanese

 

How to apply

The Suzuka Youth Center will accept applications by post or fax starting Thursday 10/20. Applications will be accepted until two weeks before the workshop is scheduled to take place, or until there are no remaining spaces.

 

Please send a document that includes your name, postal code, address, age, telephone number and the name of the workshop you wish to attend to the following address.

More detailed information concerning your workshop will be mailed to the address you provide before the date of the workshop.
