The Mie Regional Wholesale Market holds the “Nigiwai Market Day” on the 4th Saturday of each month in the Goods Marketplace Building (Kanren-shohin-baijo-ren). Premade dishes, everyday items, snacks, bread, flowers, pickles, various delicacies, grilled eel, fresh seafood, seasonal fruits and vegetables and more will be on sale. Come encounter food and other products in a way that you can only experience at a market.
The Nigiwai Market Day held in December is the Year End Thanksgiving Market, and will feature herring roe, crab and other ingredients for traditional New Year meals.
