See costumes and spaces where women lived during the Heian era, including an example of the uchide (打出)* of a princess, restored and reproduced based on painted scrolls and stories of the time.
* Uchide (打出) is the practice of showing part of the hem and sleeves of a princess’s ornate clothes from under their blinds.
