School Information Session on Mie’s Evening Junior High School (Chugakko)

県立夜間中学の学校説明会を行います

In April 2024, the night junior high school “Mie Prefectural Mie Yotsuba-ga-saki Junior High School” will open. An information session for the school will be held. Anyone can participate. There is no participation fee. Those who wish to participate should apply in advance.

* Night junior high schools are places where people who have never attended elementary or junior high school for various reasons, or who graduated without being able to attend enough and wish to study again, can study.

* People with foreign nationality can also enroll.

Special training in arc welding for foreigners

外国籍の方対象　アーク溶接特別教育の受講者を募集します。

This course covers the basic theory of arc welding, knowledge of electricity, arc welding equipment, arc welding work methods and welding-related laws and regulations, as well as practical skills in handling arc welding equipment and in arc welding work.

Those who have participated in all hours of training can obtain a “Certificate of Completion of Special Training for Arc Welding Operations.”.

Dates

Session 1: September 18-20, 2024 (3 days)

8:40-17:00

*The registration period is from August 1st to September 1st, 2024.

Session 2: March 17-19, 2025 (3 days)

8:40-17:00

*The registration period is from February 1st to March 1st, 2025.

People qualified for the course

  1. People who need safety training for handling arc welding equipment
  2. Foreigners with residence status that does not restrict employment.

However, participants must know how to speak daily conversational Japanese and read and write Hiragana.

Capacity

 5 people per session (first come, first served)

 Fee

 8,000 yen (including textbooks, etc.)

 Training content

 Special training based on the Occupational Health and Safety Act.

Students learn about handling arc welding equipment.

Upon completion, a “Certificate of Special Training in Arc Welding” will be issued.

  1. Contact the Mie Prefectural Human Resource Development Center (Mieken Jinzai Kaihatsu Center – 三重県人材開発センター) during the application period.
