ワクチン詐欺に注意!

Scams related to the coronavirus vaccine are increasing.  Be careful not to fall victim to these scams!

The vaccine is for free!

If someone asks for money to administer the vaccine, don’t accept it!

Beware of phone calls asking for your personal details

Both the federal government, city halls, local and provincial governments will never call or send e-mails saying “You need to get the vaccine” and ask for your personal information and bank account information.  If someone asks you for your personal information and bank account information, never respond.

If you receive this type of message and find it strange or unsure, consult with the authorities.

  • A call stating that You could exclusively receive the vaccine
  • A Link for information about the remaining vaccines
  • An offer to receive the Chinese vaccine under a certain amount
  • A call asking for bank account information to receive the vaccine
  • A person who is pretending to be a city hall employee will go to the victim’s home saying that he would make a reservation for the vaccine. When the victim  gets suspicious and asks for more details, this person will leave the scene immediately.
