Information on Mie Prefecture Policy and Kick-off Event

In Mie prefecture, we are aiming for a diverse society where everyone can challenge, participate and make an active part regardless of gender, age, presence of disability, nationality / cultural background, sexual orientation, gender identity and so on.

We have formulated this policy in December 2017, and we will hold a “Diversity Mie Talk Event” as a kickoff event for promoting diversity in the society.

    「Listen, look and feel. Let’s start! Mie’s challenge for a diverse society」
    The Governor of Mie Prefecture (Hideki Suzuki) will introduce the Prefecture’s effort for diversity promotion.
    After that, they will carry out a talk event.

[2018-H30] Proficiency Level of Upper Secondary School Graduates

平成30年度　高等学校卒業程度認定試験

If a person who has not graduated from high school took the Proficiency Level of Upper Secondary School Graduates test and passes it, they will be eligible to take the entrance exams for university, junior college, and vocational school. Also, test takers that pass this test are certified as having knowledge equivalent or higher to a high school graduate, and they may cite this result on resumes and when applying a qualification tests. Those who wish to register for the exam please refer to the information provided below.

(Caution)

Those who will be 16 years of age or older by March 31, 2019 can take this certification exam. However, the final academic record does not become a high school graduate

First period: From April 4 (Wednesday) to May 9 (Wednesday)

Second period: From July 20 (Friday) to September 13 (Thursday)

    Please use the envelope attached to the test guidebook and mail it by registered mail to the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology.
  1. Application Period

First period: April 20, 2018 (Friday) to May 9 (Wednesday)

Second period: August 30, 2018 (Thursday) to September 13 (Thursday)

※Applications postmarked from 1st period May 9th (Wednesday) will be accepted, 2nd period until September 13th (Thursday).

  1. Test date

First period: August 2, 2018 (Thursday), August 3 (Friday)

Second period: November 10, 2018 (Saturday), November 11 (Sunday)

  1. Test Location
