The 2020 Mie employee recruitment candidate Test A (for April 2021 hiring) will be carried out.  The start of registration and submission of  documents related to the test begins on May 15.  The test will be conducted in Japanese only, but people of foreign nationality will also be able to enroll.

However, to take the “architecture” test you will need to have a Japanese nationality.

Registration period

May 15 (Friday) to  June 8, 2020 (Monday)

* Internet registration closes at midday on June 8 (Monday).

Schedule and Location

Test day: June 28, 2020 (Sunday)

Location: Mie Kenritsu Tsu Koto Gakko

* There are also a second and third test (Administration II and III only).

Registration contents

  1. Test category and number of prospective employees:
    15 categories Total of 148 people  Please refer to the examination guide for details.
  2. Qualification to take the test:
    People born between April 2, 1991 and April 1, 1999.
    * For Administration II (gyosei II), people born between April 2, 1988 and April 1, 1999.
    * For Administration III, you will need to comply with other conditions described in the test explanations
    * For pharmacists, people born between April 2, 1986 and April 1, 1997.
  3. Registration method: through Internet, by mail or deliver in person to the registration office.
  4. Application location: Labor Department Hiring Team from Mie Human Resources Committee Office (Mie Jinji Iinkai Jimukyoku Shokuinka Nin’yohan – 三重県人事委員会事務局 職員課 任用班)

Announcement of approved applications

The registration number of those approved will be printed and placed at the entrance of the city hall, and a notification will be sent by mail to whoever is approved.  It will also be possible to check on the Internet.

About the multilingual version of the Saiku History Museum

斎宮歴史博物館の多言語版案内について

Saiku (斎宮) is a term that defines the temple belonging to Saio (斎王), queen chosen among the women of the Japanese royal family when a new emperor is appointed to take care of Ise Jingu, and Saikuryo (斎宮寮), administrative office  where Saio’s employees work.

How about getting up close to the importance of this cultural heritage and learning history in a fun way?

The Saiku Historical Museum (Saiku Rekishi Hakubutsukan – 斎宮歴史博物館) has prepared explanatory pamphlets in English, Chinese (simplified and traditional) and Korean.
