Participation is free, so come to enjoy this event (no need advanced registration). Date and time: April 18 (Saturday) from 10 am to 4 pm Location: Mie-ken Sogo Bunka Center (Mie-ken Tsu-shi Isshinden Kozubeta 1234) Admission free Schedule: Opening (Shukusai Hiroba from 10 am to 10:20 am) – Yosakoi dance presentation- Gottsu group from Mie University Booths, exhibition and interactive activities (from 10 am to 4 pm) – Exhibition on robots developed by students – Consulting on University entry procedures, health condition checking – Experiencing a simulator vehicle on sismic shaking – Elaborated dishes using local products – Sales of handcraft products and traditional food try out – Experiencing works made of wood, among others Stage presentations (Middle hall from 1 pm to 2 pm) – Traditional music presentation of Japanese court from Kougakkan University – Symphonic Band Concert from Mie University Commemorative lecture (Middle hall from 2 pm to 3:30 pm) – Subject: Carrying out a dream – our effort never betray us – Lecturer: Utsugi Taeko (former couch of national softball team) Thinking on environment, we request the collaboration of everyone to use public transport. (On the day, it is likely there will be traffic congestion.) *Schedule may change according to weather condition. *Products sales and interactive activities will be finished depending on the flown of buyers and atendees, since material amount is limited. Related activity Free admission at governmental establishments Along with the event Mie Citizens’Day, some establishments managed by prefecture’s government will have admission free at this day, for example the permanent exhibition MieMu (Mie Sogo Hakubutsukan) as well as other governamental and municipal organizations (some of them will have just one discount on admission fee). *For more details, contact the governmental establishments directly.
