The officials are gathering the opinions of as many people as possible through this survey to prepare related documents to analyze whether to set-up a Junior High evening classes. The government asks for everyone’s cooperation. * Yakan Chugaku is a junior high school where classes are held in the evening hours. View the survey here (click on your preferred language) Japanese Portuguese Spanish Filipino Cebuano Chinese English Survey Period July 15th to September 9th, 2022 People who can join the evening class Must be 15 years old and: Failed to graduate from primary school (shogakko) and/or high school (chugakko) Foreigners who cannot go to colleges (koko) because they do not have a high school graduation certificate. About the evening class The monthly fee is free There are classes 5 times a week or every day Class content is the same as in day schools Classes are taught by qualified teachers If the entire curriculum is completed, the student will have graduated from chugakko Example of class schedules 17:45~ (Orientation) 17:55~ (First period), 40 minutes 18:40~ (Second period), 40 minutes 19:30~ (Third period), 40 minutes 20:15~ (Fourth period), 40 minutes 20:55~ End of class for the day * Currently, the Mie government is gathering participants for Manamie: Mie Teaching Night School.
