During the 10 years from 2014 to 2023, resident’s tax will suffer an increase of 1,000 yen (500 yen for provincial tax + 500 yen for municipal tax). The increase generated by provisory measure will be spent by local government organizations on projects of prevention / mitigation of natural disasters. ○ Maintenance of prevention facilities against natural disasters ○ Maintenance of the refuge towers against tsunamis ○ Maintenance of dams in rivers ○ Maintenance of roads ○ Increasing bridge resistance against earthquakes, etc..
