Regarding traffic control measures due to G7 Summit in Ise-Shima

伊勢志摩サミットに伴う交通総量抑制対策について

To the successful completion of G7 Summit in Ise-Shima, between May 25 (Wednesday) and 28 (Saturday), during the moving of the leaders of the countries, the traffic on national and express highways, as well as roads in the region of Ise-Shima will be restricted. We ask the collaboration and comprehension of all in order to the reduction of the traffic congestion following the means below:

  1. Use of public transport
  2. Voluntary restriction on the use of private vehicles
  3. Adjustment on the operation of commercial transport vehicles

Following the Twitter account below, it is possible to receive information on the sections of expressways where the traffic will be restricted during the Ise-Shima Summit.

Ise-Shima Summit will be held on May 26 and 27! Let’s support together the summit! There will be several events!

Exhibition: Ise-Shima Summitimage-1a

In this exhibition on Ise-Shima, information related to the participating countries on the summit, among others items, will be exhibited with an easy comprehension content!

Hours: from 9:30 a.m to 5 p.m

Sekai no Hoshizora Kiko (Trip through the starry sky of many countries)image-2

A special event commemortaing the Ise-Shima Summit. The atendees will have fun participating on lectures and photography of the starry sky of many countries. During lecture break time, atendees can enjoy a backgrund music perfect for the starry sky.

Reception from: 2:30 p.m
Lecture: from 3 p.m to 4 p.m
Admission: ¥500
Target audience: above shogakko age students
Capacity: 220 (first- come- first- served- basis)
