Mie Culture Hall Festival

When: 26th May 2013 from 11am to 4pm (Casual Band Performances start 10am)

Where: Mie Center for the Arts Cultural Hall

ADMISSION FREE

 

 

Main Stage (Grand Hall) 11:00~

Featuring: children’s program, yosakoi and dance performances, guitar corner and for the grand finale a performance by a concert orchestra.

 

Concert Band Performance (Medium Hall) 10:00~

Featuring a middle school big band, high school orchestra club, a senior band and more!

 

The Cultural Experience (Small Hall) 11:00~

Performance by pianist Midori Tamura! Experience music through a variety of games and activities which even younger children can enjoy.

 

The Festival Zone (Plaza) 11:00~

Local food stalls, dance performances and more!

Mie Prefecture Exhibition

平成２５年５月１８日（土）から６月２日（日）まで、津市で「みえ県展（公募美術展覧会）」が開催されます。

Saturday, 18th May to Sunday, 2nd June 2013.

Closed on Mondays.

Venue: Mie Prefecture Culture Hall Gallery and Large Meeting Room

Address: Mie Center for the Arts, Mie Prefecture Tsu City Isshinden Koujibeta 1234

Time: 09:30-17:00

(Open until 19:00 on Saturdays. On the last day the exhibition will close at 15:00)

Admission: 200 yen (students free of charge)

Entry to the exhibition will finish thirty minutes before closing time.

Note: on 26th May admission will be free to coincide with the Culture Center Festival.

Content: The largest public submission art exhibition in Mie Prefecture featuring Japanese style artwork, Western style paintings, sculptures, craftworks, photos and literary content all submitted by members of the public.
