Hand in Hand 2017 – Multicultural Awareness Event

Mie Prefecture works for the “Construction of a multicultural society”, aiming to accept the cultural differences among citizens of several nationalities, ethnical groups, among others and on the mutual structure of a community based on same relation. As part of this event the Hand in Hand 2017 will be held – Multicultural Awareness Event.

This year’s theme is “Fictious Journeys through the Planet – South America”. What about travelling to South America countries with your rich imagination? Take part of the event to understand the differences of culture, traditions and values deepening the mutual knowledge by getting to know the home countries of South Americans living in the prefecture.

Date: December 10, 2017 (Sunday) – 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Location: Mie Citizens Exchange Center – Mie Kenmin Kouryu Center (Tsu-shi Hadokoro-cho 700 – UST Tsu 3F)

Description:

  • Spanish classes basic level

Useful expressions taught by a foreigner

  • Get aboard on the ficitious jorney through the Planet to Bolivia and Brazil.

Start of the fictitious journey (experiences of imaginary travels) of each country accompained by Brazillian and Bolivian guides. Learning and instruction about geography, culture and lifestyle of both countries in an amusing way.

Note: There is no free parking at the site. People going to the event by car are required to pay a parking lot fee.
