Enpaku Mie 2014 – Events in September

Partners for the Umashi-Kuni-Okoshi Mie Initiative and other organizations will be showcasing various events and projects that they hold to foster regional development.

“Creating connections” is the key phrase and featured events will be ones that gather participants from within and outside the prefecture to interact and share ideas.

Duration：April 2014～November 2014

Location：Various locations around Mie Some of September’s events are outlined below.

 

Full Moon Candle Night

The event will take place at the Akame Shijuhachitaki Waterfall.

Enjoy the exquisite view of one thousand candles and bamboo lights.

The first 100 visitors will receive a traditional Tsukimi rice dumpling.

Date: Saturday, 20th September

Time: 6pm – 8pm

Location: Nabari City, Akame Shijuhachitaki Keikoku Near Fudoutaki

Watarai Enyusai II Joint Event

Come and enjoy the children’s dance and buy some hand-crafted items.

There will also be a helicopter.

Disaster Prevention Event will be held simultaneously

Date: Tuesday, 23th September (Public Holiday)

Location: Watarai Park, Miya River, Watarai-cho

Admission: Free

The Second Forest Music Festival

Enjoy South American folk music at the Forest Music Festival.

Make the most of this event by taking part in the cultural exchange!

Date: Sunday, 28th September

Time: 11am – 4pm

Location: Mizugira No Mori, Misugicho Hatemata, Tsu, Mie

Admission: 500 yen
