There is no need to apply in advance and anyone is welcome to join the class. Create your own unique memories at the Old Kumano Road Centre. Join us alone or with family and friends – all welcome! On Sunday 11th August we will be using pliable sheets of Hinoki wood to create original items – making chopsticks is popular in this workshop! On Monday 12th August the workshop will using wood to craft bird calling whistles. After the workshop try calling to the birds in the forests around the centre! On Tuesday 13th August try your hand at crafting a kaleidoscope from Hinoki wood. Design your own unique kaleidoscope as a memory of your visit to Higashi-Kishuu. *In some cases materials can run out during workshop hours. If this occurs we will end the workshop early, we ask for your understanding.
