MieMu Exhibition “I love toys! ~Local toys and History of toys~”

MieMu gathers local toys in various places, including toys in each era from the Meiji era to the present, including the Ise region, centering on Japan’s best toy collection of Japan Toy Museum.

Both adults and children can enjoy it, and during the period of lecture meetings and events (free) it will allow you to experience and see various toys, so please come with your family and friends.

Also “Mie Toy Caravan in Mie Mu” is being held at the same time. In addition to playing with the wooden playground equipment, woodworking classes are also held. Please enjoy it together with the exhibition.

  1. Period: From July 7, 2018 (Sat)  until September 2 (Sun)
    Closed every Monday (the next day, in case Monday is a holiday)
  2. Place: Mie-ken Sogo Hakubutsukan (MieMu) 3rd floor planning exhibition room (Tsu-shi Isshindenkozubeta 3060)
  3. Opening hours:
    From 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays (Admission is until 30 minutes before closing)
    Saturday, Sunday and public holidays until 7 p.m.
  4. Admission fee:
    General – 900 yen, Student – 540 yen, below high school student – Free

Public Transportation: By train, get off at Tsu Station → From Tsu Station West Exit Bus station: no.1【Line 89】 “To Sogo Bunka Center” or “To Yumegaoka Danchi”

→ Get off at “Sogo Bunka Center” (Time required: about 5 minutes)

On foot: Approximately 25 minutes from Tsu station west exit

By Car: Approximately 10 minutes from the Ise Expressway “Tsu IC”, about 15 minutes from “Geino IC”
