Every year the “movement to eradicate violence against woman” is held from November 12 to 25. In several regions all over the country the event called “Purple Light Up” is carried out, symbolized by a purple ribbon representing the eradication of the violence against woman. As last year, Mie Center for the Arts will host the event.
This “Light Up” calls for the eradication of the violence against woman and conveys the message the victims are not alone and must look for help. An exhibition will also be held in collaboration with municipalities in Mie Prefecture to better approach the issue. Attend the event and bring your family and friends!
