Partners for the Umashi-Kuni-Okoshi Mie Initiative and other organisations will be showcasing various events and projects that they hold to foster regional development.

“Creating connections” is the key phrase and featured events will be ones that gather participants from within and outside the prefecture to interact and share ideas.

Duration: April 2014 – November 2014

Location: Various locations around Mie.

Some of November’s events are outlined below.

 

Mie citizens major gathering “Enjoy! Mie no chiiki zukuri”

A festival for regional development, with entertainment for the whole family.

Stage performances and many booths from Mie’s 140 wonders, since exhibitions, products, interactive activities and typical food, besides a lecture by a famous professor from private courses, Mr. Hayashi Osamu.

Date: 2014, November 22 (Sat)

Hour: 10am to 3:30pm

Momiji Matsuri no Meikokusan Shoubou-ji

Enjoy the autumn colors of this temple’s garden with 1.200 years of history, with night illumination and musical concerts on Saturdays and Sundays.

Date: from 2014, November, 22 (Sat) to November, 30 (Sun)
Hour: 9am to 5 pm
Night Illumination: November 22,23,24,29 and 30 (from 5pm to 9pm)
