Enpaku Mie 2014 – Events in August

Partners for the Umashi-Kuni-Okoshi Mie Initiative and other organizations will be showcasing various events and projects that they hold to foster regional development.

「Creating connections」 is the key phrase and featured events will be ones that gather participants from within and outside the prefecture to interact and share ideas.

「Sunflower Field」

Date: August

Location: Yokkaichi City, Kobayashicho, Near the Kobayashi Shinden bus stop　(Prefectural Road number 44)

Admission: Free

Details: Come and enjoy the view of sunflower fields in full bloom!

 

「10 Year Anniversary of The Hawaiian Festival in Shimashi 2014」

Date: Sunday, August 31

Location: Shima-shi Ago Arena

Admission: Free

Details: Japanese Hula Exhibition and a show by guests from Hawaii.

A Hawaiian food booth, Hula dance and Hawaiian culture workshops will be available at the venue.

 

「Kododori Night Markets 」

Date: Saturday, August 16

Location: Kumano City Honmachi–dori

Admission: Free

Details: The Night Market event takes place in the Honmachi–dori area the day before the Kumano Fireworks Festival.
