What are other cultures like? How do people in other countries live? Have fun playing games and eating the food of other countries! This event offers many different ways to experience and learn about other cultures!

 

Target Participants: primary to middle school aged children (parents are welcome to come)

Date:  Sunday, 7th December 2014

Time: 10:45am –  Event opening and reception start

11:00am to 4:00pm – Main event

 Location:  Miekenmin Exchange Center, 3rd Floor UST-TSU 700 Hadokorocho, Tsu, Mie Prefecture

 Admission: Free

Guest Speaker: Shin Yamamoto, Lecturer at Yokkaichi University

  • Game corner with exchange students from Asia!
  • Make your own Matryoshka doll! (Russian nesting doll)
  • Try on the traditional national dress of different cultures!
  • Taste a range of foods and drinks from different parts of the world!

Registration prior to the event is required for the specified activities. Registration can be done by phone, fax, mail or in person at the Mie Shimin Katsudou Volunteer Center (Center for Citizen Initiatives Mie).
