
The Mie Prefectural Art Museum is holding an exhibition of the calligrapher Sakaki Bakuzan (1926–2010), who was born in Iga (Mie).
The exhibition features a total of 108 works, including calligraphy pieces from his student days, works that combine poetry, calligraphy, and painting, as well as collaborations with other artists—showcasing the full charm of Bakuzan’s art.

Opening Hours: 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM (last admission at 4:30 PM)
Closed: Every Monday (except May 4, when it will be open), and May 7 (Thursday)

Adults: 800 yen (600 yen)
Students: 600 yen (400 yen)
High school students and younger: Free

- Persons with a disability certificate (including app-based certificates) and one companion are admitted free of charge.
- On Family Days (April 19 and May 17), admission will be charged at the group rate.
