Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the medical care provision system in Mie Prefecture is on the brink of collapse, so the government decided to implement the Priority Measures to Prevent the Spread of the Coronavirus (Manen Boshi-to Juten Sochi – まん延防止等重点措置), in Mie (files available only in Japanese).
To protect the lives and health of all citizens, the authorities ask for the support of all to comply with the the even more stricter measures until May 31.
1 – Do not go to restaurants after 8pm if it’s unnecessarily
2 – Avoid leaving the house even during the day (except if it’s really important for daily necessities)
3 – Do not spend time in crowded places or for long hours
4 – Do not go to other prefecture ((except if it’s really important for daily necessities)
5 – Shorten the operation hours by closing the restaurants at 8pm
6 – Do not use the karaoke area of the restaurants
7 – Take the necessary preventive measures as there are many people entering and leaving the restaurant.
8 – Reduce the operation hours of sports centers, theaters, leisure facilities and shops with an area of more than 1,000 m² by closing at 8:00 pm.
9 – Reduce the number of employees inside the offices by 70% by promoting Telework (Work from home).
10 – Do not provide alcoholic beverages in restaurants
* If items 5, 6, 7 and 10 are not followed without presenting a plausible reason, the government may issue orders or punishments.
