Do not travel outside the prefecture!
In August, the highest number of infected people has been confirmed in Mie and Aichi prefectures. The number of infected people is increasing rapidly in Gifu prefecture as well. Amid the growth of the extremely infectious delta variant, the number of those infected with a history of travel to other prefecture for tourism, work, homecoming and other reasons are increasing.
Governors are urging everyone to avoid traveling outside the prefecture to “reduce the flow of people” and “thorough self-restraint of traveling across prefectural borders”.
To all the residents of the prefecture
Do not go outside the prefecture for unnecessary tourist trips, homecoming and other reasons. Especially in regions that are under the state of emergency alert or implementing a strict infection preventive measures.
Check again the basic information on infection preventive measures (well ventilated environments, wearing a face mask, washing and disinfecting fingers and hands, maintaining social distance, taking care of your health, etc).
Don’t eat or drink with people you don’t normally see. Avoid meals, meetings and other social events between relatives.
The risk of contamination is high, so don’t do barbecues and drink in groups even outdoors.
To all businesses
Analyze the need for business travel outside the province and try using online meetings and other measures.
If there is an extreme need to make the trip, avoid crowds, eating meals with other people and other situations that can increase the risk of infections.
