On May 25 (Monday), the State of Emergency of the provinces under Special Alert (Hokkaido, Saitama, Chiba, Tokyo and Kanagawa) was lifted.  With that, the whole Japanese territory left the State of Emergency.  Since April 25, there have been no new cases in Mie Prefecture.

Because of this, State of Emergency Measures for Mie Prefecture Version 2 (Mieken Kinkyu Jitai Sochi – 三重県緊急事態措置 ver 2) have been compiled.  The main changes from the previous guidelines are described below.

  1. To all citizens of the province

May 26-31:

Avoid traveling to other provinces except in really necessary cases

June 1-18:

Avoid traveling to Hokkaido, Saitama, Chiba, Tokyo and Kanagawa provinces except in cases that are really necessary.  Regarding trips to other provinces, the governor asks citizens to respect the rules of the new daily life or “the new normal”, which are:

1    Know the basic methods of preventing the coronaviruss

2    Avoid enclosed and crowded places

3    Maintain social distancing

After the June 19:

Respect the rules of the new daily life or “the new normal” when traveling to any province.

  1. To all citizens of other provinces

June:1-18
