Cultural and Art Festival of Mie 2015 – 66th Exhibition of Mie

平成27年5月23日(土)~6月7日(日)の期間中に津市で「平成27年度みえ文化芸術祭 第66回みえ県展」が開催されます


The “Exhibition of Mie” is one of the greatest artistic events with the biggest collection of Mie Prefecture. Works of art from several citizens from Mie or who come to study or work in the prefecture will be gathered at this exhibition. A great contest on works in Japanese style, western, sculptures, handcraft will be held. And only the winning works, according to the jury, will be displayed.

Period: 2015, May 23 (Sat) to 2015, June 7 (Sun)
* Closes on Mondays
Hours: from 9:30 am to 5 pm (on its last day, the exhibition will be open until 3 pm)
(Entrance permitted until 30 minutes before closing time)

Admission: Adult ¥200, Free for students (upon showing the student ID)

* On May 31 (Sun) the admission will be free of charge since the General Festival of Culture from Mie Citizens will be held (Mie Kenmin Bunkasai Sogo Festival)

Exhibition at Mie Center for the Arts “Mirage and Insomnia ―The Imagination of Day-Night Reversal“

2015年5月16日(土)~6月28日(日)の期間中に「真昼の夢、夜の寝覚め-昼夜逆転の想像力-」の企画展が開催されます

“Mahiru no yume, yoru no nezame – Chuya gyakuten no sozoryoku-“
(Mirage and Insomnia ―The Imagination of Day-Night Reversal)

Many stories have been created during several sleepless nights, and many of them have been based in tales related to constellations. On the other side, there are people who have dreams in broad daylight. In this exhibition, there wiil be several works of art where the imagination created in an opposite situation between the day and night will be expressed.

Period: from May 16 (Sat) to June 28 (Sun)
Closed: every Monday
Opening Hours: from 9:30 am to 5 pm (entrance permitted until 4:30 pm)

Admission:
– Adult ¥700 (500)
– Student ¥600 (400)
– Students up to age of high school: free

*The admission in brackets is for groups with more than 20 people.
*Students should present the ID card to confirm schooling (seito techo or gakusei-sho)
*By paying this admission is also possible to visit the other exhibitions.
*The dates referring to “Family’s Day” (May 17 and June 21) the admission will be the same for groups.
